WHO WE ARE

From Farms to Progress

Uniting Pork Producers for a Sustainable Future

The Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines, Inc. (ProPork) is a national organization of commercial and backyard swine raisers and their allied services—founded to protect and promote the varied interests of the country’s pork industry.

Founded in 1990, the initial three member-associations—which composed the first national hog organization (National Hog Raisers Group, Inc.) —has grown to 41 member-associations with 615 commercial and 72,157 backyard swine farm members from various parts of the Philippines. It took on its present name in 2010 to reflect the group’s evolution into an association that serves as a strong link not just among its members but also as a conduit with the other industry stakeholders, whether in the public or private sector.

Today, ProPork stays true to its tradition of acting as the voice of pork producers from all over the country—pushing to ensure the growth, stability, and sustainability of its members and the whole pork industry and actively contributes to the overall development of the nation.
